Dance du Soleil

Dance du Soleil is a dance performance and training company founded and directed by Leyla Soleil in 2007. Our style is a unique and beautiful fusion of belly dance, jazz and lyrical dance, though we do perform each style in it’s pure form as well.  

The company has gone through many changes over the years. We were initially located in Akron, Ohio, USA, and our first dance company name was Midnight Soleil. We taught and performed in many venues throughout Ohio and the midwest, eventually opening two studios; one in Akron, OH, and the other in Columbus, OH, USA.

 In 2012, Leyla redesigned the Dance du soleil curriculum in colaboration with renowned northeast Ohio dancer, Andrea Love. 

Our family relocated to Atlanta, GA in 2015. We now hold small group classes in our home studio, and larger classes at Atlanta Fusion Dance.

If you’re interested in trying a class with us, we’d be happy to hear from you! You can email, text or message us on socials. Dance du Soleil technique class is intermediate through professional level class so students do need at least some experience in order to keep up.
